September was a great month over here at KGK Studios! We shared a couple birthdays and got to celebrate in the absolute best way possible: by enjoying the release of (Premium) which debuted [9/9/2020] and is the first single off the highly anticipated sophomore album “Critical Hit” set to be released [12/12/2020]. “Premium” was featured in Spotify’s Fresh Finds: Rock playlist last month! KGK is super excited to have been apart of Chicago EDM powerhouse Dez’s debut album “A World of Dez”. We had the incredible privilege of mastering the entirety of the album which was released everywhere [7/17/2020]! Dez’s eclectic lineup of tracks is only enhanced by his profound choice of collaboration. “A World of Dez” features performances by vocalists Bay-C, Taylor Belle, and Robbie Rosen.

It has been an incredibly busy year for the Chicago Indie Pop group. As part of the #GG2020 campaign, KGK was honored to have gotten to work along side and be apart of releases each month.

KGK is honored to have been apart of the latest release from Chicago Indie rockers Gal Gun. “Dig This Shit” and “So Far, So Bad” released 3/3/2020 are the 3rd round of singles from the band in preparation of their 2nd full-length studio album due this fall!

KGK Studios is incredibly excited to have been apart of the surprise release of Chicago Indie Pop group’s first single of the new decade “Beauty Community” which debuted 1/1/2020. “Beauty Community” is the first of 4 singles set to be released in preparation for the band’s second coming studio album expected to be released later this fall.

KGK studios recently had the awesome opportunity of recording all the vocals and performing the final Mastering for the latest single from Chicago country artist Michael Keys. “Even Better” was released 11/8/19 and can regularly be heard playing on Chicago’s BIG95.5 Country radio station.

KGK is proud to announce the conclusion of our long-standing tenure of mixing and mastering Chicago Indie Pop artist - Troy Anderson’s 3rd studio album (Cool Pop, New Soda). “Every Night” is the first single from the record and was released on 10/16/18, which premiered in Melted Magazine. The release show featured fellow Chicago Indie Rock bands: Gal Gun and Rookie, and took place at The Empty Bottle 11/10/18. (Cool Pop, New Soda) is available both in digital and vinyl format!

LJ - "Could You Believe"

KGK is currently spear-heading the production of new artist LJ's debut album "Could You Believe". LJ's first single "Wrong Way" is set to be released later this month, with the official EP to follow by the end of this year.

AAKASH

KGK is currently signed on to complete the final mastering of the upcoming “Homecoming” - EP from Producer/Musician AAKASH.

Gal Gun

KGK is beyond excited to be partnering with the incredible Chicago based Indie Pop band Gal Gun in the pursuit of their sophomore record.

Troy Anderson

KGK and Troy Anderson are back and at it again for round 2! KGK is excited to be producing and engineering the follow up record to the brilliant Power-Pop album “Cool Pop, New Soda” which was mixed and mastered by KGK last fall.

ODE$$EY

KGK is currently collaborating with and writing along side the powerful Chicago based Soul Pop and R&B heartthrob ODE$$EY in the pursuit of his debut album.

Millwork

KGK is currently working along side Indie artist - Millwork in development of their 2nd studio EP.

Phil Angotti - "WXRT Compilation"

KGK is currently working with Phil Angotti on a Beatles compilation for WXRT’s - Breakfast with the Beatles.

Martin Newsongz - "10 Times"

KGK is also co-writing and producing all of the music for Pop/R&B artist - Martin Newsongz's two upcoming singles "10 Times" and "One Darling" set to be released this year.
